Let Godiva have your message

The Godiva Awakes journey began in 2009 since when literally hundreds of members of the public have been able to get involved with the creation of this spectacular piece of public art and performance.

We’re currently working with cyclists and singers from right across the Midlands; there have been opportunities to get involved with the design of Godiva’s clothes, the mechanics of how she moves, and, of course, a central part of the project is a book developed and written by the 220 strong Communitas during the two years leading up to her journey that details all of our collective hopes and aspirations around the core Olympic themes of equality, justice and fairness.

Godiva will be tasked with delivering this book to London as the culmination of her journey in time for the London Olympic and Paralympic Games.
